Numerous versions of holographic
Salamencecards have been released since its debut in the EX Dragon expansion in 2003. Different sets and versions, including standard "holo rare," "reverse holo," and promo cards, feature Salamence with unique art and rarity.
Notable holo rare cards
- EX Dragon #19 (2003): This is one of the earliest holographic Salamence cards. There are multiple variations, including the regular set version, a promo version with a "Winner" stamp, and a special Cosmos Holo version that came in blisters.
- EX Delta Species #14 (2005): This holographic card features the Delta Species variant of Salamence, a Metal/Fire type. Its value can be higher when professionally graded, like the PSA 9 version sold at PokéTradeX.
- Secret Wonders #18/132 (2007): A highly sought-after collectible is the holographic Secret Wonders version with a rare "holo bleed" error, which has sold for significantly more.
